First off, I got Jab2 finished and imported into the game. I’m pretty proud of this animation, and especially after seeing it in-game. The way the left foot moves meshes really well with Jab1’s animation, and the whole thing looks really fluid both on its own and following from Jab1.
Unfortunately I noticed a bugFixed the hitbox displays to accurately show the hitboxes. Before the fix, the dummy (visible) hitboxes would display at a slightly wrong size and location. It was pretty annoying trying to track down why this was happening, but luckily it only took about 2 hours.
Another bug I’ll have to fix sooner or later is that wavedashing into slopes is completely not functional. Instead of sliding naturally, you either lose all your momentum if you’re dashing up the slope or you gain way too much momentum dashing down the slope. I guess it makes sense in some ways, but it doesn’t feel very good, so I’ll have to fix it sooner or later.
Still no recorded clips of SDI and knockback, but don’t worry I haven’t forgotten about them. Soon™!
